Tresor Lomana Lua Lua

Found this rather odd story on SkySports this morning. I say odd because I have never heard any links between him and Spurs before, let alone that he is 'aparently' a Spurs fan. Very wierd. I hope we focus on Kuyt from Feyenord and not Lua Lua....

Portsmouth forward Tresor Lomana Lua Lua has revealed that he would love to join Tottenham Hotspur.

The DR Congo man has seen Pompey boss Harry Redknapp beef up his relegation-threatened squad with a raft of January signings and the arrival of Wayne Routledge on loan from Tottenham has increased competition for places at Fratton Park.

Lua Lua says he is fully committed to the cause on the South Coast, but has suggested he could be on the move.

The former Newcastle United man claims Spurs and Pompey are talking over the long-term future of Routledge and feels he could be sent to White Hart Lane in a summer swap deal.

"I have one year left on my contract, then I may see my future at another club," Lua Lua told the Star on Sunday. "Talks are taking place between Spurs and Pompey, but nothing has been settled yet.

"Portsmouth may sell my contract if they receive a better offer, but I wish to join Tottenham.

"I have been a Spurs fan since I was very young and I want to play alongside Mido, who I respect very much."
